We introduced the APAXIAL (Asymmetrical Pattern, Axis & Level) method and wave face control technique. TAD TH-4003 is an asymmetrical horn shape with a horizontal directional angle of 80 degrees and a vertical directional angle of 30 degrees. It features very smooth output sound pressure characteristics and an aggressive vertical directional control. This makes clearer sound image stability possible with less reflection in the low zone, this removes the necessity for fins. Also we feature a closer sound source position to the woofer to enhance sound reproductivity. AFAST (Acoustical Filter Assisted System Tuning) is used in the upper portion of the horn. The acoustical filter absorbs the horn's resonance to prevent sound image blurring, as a result, sound reproduction becomes much clearer.
