The Pioneer Store Celebrates Its One Year Anniversary
The Retail Milestone is Commemorated with a New Look and Feel for the Store

Pioneer Electronics (USA) Inc. celebrates the one-year anniversary of its retail store located in Costa Mesa’s posh South Coast Plaza shopping center. What began last year as Pioneer’s first retail venture in the United States has now become a stellar success. In recognition of the retail milestone, Pioneer will unveil a new look and renovated aspects of the store in order to align its latest rebranding efforts. In honor of its anniversary, the Pioneer Store is holding an in-store private concert featuring contemporary jazz icon, David Benoit.
As part of the launch of KURO, its new line of ground-breaking plasma televisions, Pioneer is globally repositioning itself as a premium brand that appeals to the emotion felt when experiencing Pioneer products. As part of this new stance, the Pioneer Store becomes a key component to communicating its new mantra, “seeing and hearing like never before.” The Pioneer Store will be one of the first places that Southern California consumers can experience the Pioneer KURO televisions for themselves. The new line of plasma televisions will be the focal point of the store along with its new logo signage and other product displays.
“Within such a short period of time, we have made an impact in elevating the consumers’ retail experience. On Thursday, September 27, 2007 a grand piano will be moved into the Store for David Benoit’s private concert for VIP customers. David’s longevity spans not only his work with some of the most highly regarded symphonies and philharmonics around the world, but also his work in television and film scores which have garnered him five Grammy nominations. He currently serves as musical director of the Asia America Symphony Association.
Within the past year, the Pioneer Store served as Southern California’s premier location to obtain the latest on Pioneer technology and products. The store has hosted several in-store celebrity appearances, launched store-exclusive product, and conducted several high-end custom home theater installations.
