A  The 3.5" Center SpeakerCruze Car Model

The 3.5" center speaker is only available in the Pioneer Premium Audio System (not available on the base audio system). The center speaker provides accurate and precise reproduction of vocals, bringing you even closer to the artists' emotion and talent. Feel the artist's passion. Hear their voices. With the Pioneer Premium Audio System, your car will become your personal entertainment cocoon...

B1.0" Tweeters

Our engineers took precise acoustic measurements and positioned the tweeters on the front A-pillars so that high frequency sounds are delivered to your ears smoothly. This allows you to hear the high frequencies that add fullness and tension to music’s most elegant sounds—silky jazz vocals, an acoustic guitar’s picking, a piano’s first strike—which lesser audio systems cannot reproduce

CFront 6.5"

Low-Mid Range Speakers

The front 6.5” low-mid range speakers are specifically tuned to accompany the tweeters and center channel to create very stable imaging location as well as a very symmetrical stage height and depth. This creates an enveloping experience for the listener.

DRear 6.5" Full Range Speakers

The rear 6.5” full range speakers ensure that rear passengers enjoy the same audio experience as the driver and front passenger and are tuned to enhance the systems overall performance.

E6x9" Subwoofers

A pair of 6”x9” subwoofers supply the low frequency 6x9 Subwooferfoundation of music that is powerful, rich and accurate. The subwoofers are located on the rear shelf of the vehicle to re-enforce the low frequency extension. Bass is the sound energy source of music – You will start the morning listening to the fresh energetic rich and tight bass, which will help you shift from an off-mode to an on-mode.

F7 Channel Amplifier

Pioneer’s sound professionals tuned this audio system to provide perfect acoustics specifically for the Chevrolet Cruze. The 7 channel amplifier delivers tight, powerful bass with natural tonal response throughout the full frequency spectrum . This makes for an enjoyable listening experience for all types of music, presenting the feeling of being there at the performance.

10 Songs for your Audio Test Drive

In September 2010, professional audio judges from MECA (Mobile Electronics Competition Association) picked the Cruze audio system over its major competitors. MECA judges used three evaluations: a sound-pressure test to measure sound volume, real-time analysis to measure audio fidelity, and the judges’ evaluations of the listening experience. The Cruze won two of the three evaluations, earning the highest rating in the MECA Sound Quality League competition format.

Matt Kirsch, lead audio engineer for the Chevrolet Cruze, spends more than 500 hours a year listening to car audio systems. Below are Kirsch’s Top 10 favorite songs for evaluating any sound system.
