Android Compatibility

As a leader in the car electronics industry, Pioneer is offering the widest selection of connectivity options for the Android smartphone user...more than any other aftermarket manufacturer. Android users can now enjoy music, apps, and information that are on the phone, directly on the display of the Pioneer receiver.

The AppRadio Mode feature is now available on the full 2014 and 2013 lineup of AppRadio, NEX, Navigation and DVD Receivers. Android compatibility is available on the following Pioneer models: AppRadio 3, AppRadio 2, AVIC-8000NEX, AVIC-7000NEX, AVIC-6000NEX, AVH-4000NEX, AVIC-Z150BH, AVIC-X950BH, and AVH-X8500BHS. The CD-AH200 cable interface kit is required for Android compatibility. Please check the following list for Android devices that have been tested and confirmed to be compatible with AppRadio Mode. This list will continually be updated as more Android devices are tested and confirmed. Please check back soon if your device is currently not listed.
